Key public welfare and community development initiatives undertaken during administrative service.
Krishnagiri Initiative
Led educational upliftment amongst students by educating communities on the importance of education and career development through improvements to schools and hostels in remote rural areas during my collectorship in Krishnagiri.
During my tenure as Collector, tribal women development and welfare were given precedence in the hilly areas of Thali and Kelamangalam by initiating new road paths, primary health centres, encouraging institutional deliveries, and creating awareness on nutrition, maternal mortality and neonatal care.
Erode Initiative
Dying units were monitored effectively under my supervision as District Collector and all units were checked in accordance with Environment and Health Acts of both State and Central Governments. Units that failed to comply with regulations were closed and programs were introduced to ensure safe waste disposal along with preventive health awareness initiatives.
Motivational student programs and amenities provided to government schools helped students achieve their goals, resulting in the district securing the highest pass percentage in the State.
Kanchipuram Initiative
During my collectorship in Kanchipuram, I effectively monitored the implementation of government policies regarding public welfare schemes and rural developments.
